A former Democratic Party official in Northern Virginia apparently discussed having a hit man kill two young girls he is charged with molesting so that they could not testify against him at trial.
Quote:
“I want you to know I haven’t forgotten what we’ve discussed. The friend you asked me to contact to see if he could help with the ‘3 problems’ you have pre-trial will be passing through VA on a FL to NY ‘run,’ ” the letter said, according to the motion. Referring to the alleged hit man, the letter continues: “Get back to me right away because I don’t [want] his visiting you to interfere with Robin and the kids [sic] anticipated visit.”
Gardner also considered having the prosecutors and cop offed as well.

When police administered a polygraph test to the inmate, he said Gardner had also considered the two prosecutors and a detective as potential murder victims, the motion said.

He was convicted in 2012 of molesting the girls and the court overturned that conviction. He has been granted a new trial. Nice try reporting old news as if it was new.
You don't check out dates let alone read the stories, do you. The story that sanspeur linked was dated June 5, 2014. My link is dated February 19, 2015. Gardner is being retried on the molestation charges and he attempted to hire the hit man to silence the girls.
