Been living in Houston since 1980 ain't got killed yet.
Hell I've been in the Houston area since 94 and I've even been to Harwin/South Houston a few times and the only times I've been shot at were in the Middle East.

Houstons murder rate has been increasing yearly while.Chicagos has been decreasing every year
Manhattan with >75% Houston's population, has just 16 murders through last week. Obviously, Houston is most likely well past 100 by now. Maybe they should study New York to learn how to make their city safer.
