Using double negatives at a college commencement? I hope that at least a quarter of the graduates caught on to that, otherwise they ought to ask for their money back because Oberlin failed them - not by conferring on them degrees but by enrolling them in the first place without determining that they possessed knowledge of basic English grammar.

Oh, brother. Cant' she just shut up?

What an embarrassment!

And as luck would have it ... perfect timing ... this just showed up:

ANOTHER LEFT-WING RANT FROM THE FIRST LADY: Michelle Obama 'Shapes a Revolution
I have to say this was quite amusing:

See, graduates, this is what happens when you turn your attention outward and decide to brave the noise and engage yourself in the struggles of our time. And that’s why, in his remarks 50 years ago, Dr. King urged the class of ‘65 to ‘stand up’ and ‘be a concerned generation.’
Then Ms.“Stand up” segued into her best community activist exhortation:
And I want to be very clear: Every city ordinance, every ballot measure, every law on the books in this country – that is your concern. What happens at every school board meeting, every legislative session – that is your concern. Every elected official who represents you, from dogcatcher all the way to President of the United States – they are your concern.
Wait! Before advising graduates to be concerned about “every law on the books”, maybe Michelle should have had a chat about that subject with her husband who, every chance he gets, disregards “every law on the books”.

Michelle has no class and isn't very bright. She also comes across as disingenuous and very entitled. I'm surprised even a few people pay attention to her anymore. I don't.

My gosh!

The first lady seems to have incurred the wrath of the radical right again, judging from the angry posts in this thread.

She'd probably be very upset, if only she knew.

Oh, wait. We don't have to imagine.
Or imagine how dumb someone would have to be to look to "Clash Daily" with 'Doug Giles (who???)' and an opinion piece written by "Jeannie Deangelis (who???)" for their news.

Oh wait we don't have to imagine.

Looks like it's turning into a clown bus, and if any more show up they will have to sit on top honking their toy horns and quoting Jayzus and Ayn Rand (in the same sentence)
