Nice and dry. Just kidding. I lived in Southern California from 1954 to 1972 and I admit the weather was good. Although I think it used to be smoggier then.

The news tried to scare us in NY about the polar vortex all the time.

It is in the same frame of thought as the original statement I responded to that inferred conservatives loved dismal economic news. Both sides use bad news to attack incumbants of the other party.
