You can't blame schools for America's obesity problem.
And you cannot expect schools to "fix" this problem unless you turn K-12 into boarding schools where you have control of the child 24/7.

Bicycles are a great idea! Those kids can ride themselves to McDs, KFC, etc.....

THEY are really bad people. The Prog-Activists demand utter and complete compliance and they wont stop until you cannot get a job, cannot own a home and cannot live if you do not bow the knee to whatever whim they have decided is their ISSUE.
I just read that in Baltimore schools they provide free breakfasts and lunches to all students...

In Baltimore schools, free meals for all - Baltimore Sun

...they certainly seem to be taking over the parenting function more and more.

Plan away, and accept the responsibilities that go with it.

I think the idea is healthy choices in school lunches. Who would of thunk that right wingers would be against healthy nutrition for our children!

I'm not... But many are, obviously. (You know this already... I think your question is in-genuine...)

Our agriculture and food system subsidizes manufactured nutritionless food in ways that real agriculture and natural foods aren't subsidized.

Once again, I'd suggest you learn about how cows and chickens are raised commercially, and the differences between grass-fed and corn-raised cattle, as an example of this phenomenon.
