Hot Damn, I sincerely appreciate a person who tells it like it is! and boy did she ever, but as she states, how many will listen who come from a trashy up bringing.
You know what instead of making excuses for the little punks, we need more people to come forward with the truth as this woman has. But how many do not want to listen, they want the easy way out.
I respect her, immensely because so many black people I can just imagine, are going to tear her to shreds.

She's absolutely right. You are what you do and reputations are made by what you do. People will either be part of the solution or part of the problem. And right now in Baltimore, it's the latter item that's gotten the attention. The actions of those looters and rioters (really, criminals) make reputations for them. It's not everyone else's fault: It's their own. It's their own because of the courses of action that they've chosen to take.
Well, as a black person, you can call out thuggish criminal behavior and the root causes of it, much of which stems from bad parenting. A white person would likely just be called racist, even without saying some of the things she said.
A lot of these parents try hard and do a good job in abject poverty and what do they get for it? Nothing. They are neither recognized nor rewarded for their efforts, and little thugs and gangbangers with bad parenting should not be seen as representative, because they are not.
We need to do more to reward and recognize good parenting in the worst circumstances in America.

Uh; IF "white" people were using the "N word" when talking about hood rats; you might have a case. Tho if those SAME white people were slamming PWT for acting stupid, racism wouldn't count since it was the SAME race on both sides of the coin. That Black lady; IF she cussed out PWT fools, I'd still agree with her because it'd be the truth even tho I'm also "white". It is what it is.
