40% of Americans will be white (only 30% of newborn children will be white)
31% Hispanic
14% Black
8% Asian
7% Mixed
if this trend continues then by 2090, the white population of the USA will be 28%
and Hispanics will be the majority
That may not be that meaningful, at all.
The Hispanic and Asian vote may be meaningless by that point in time, if the immigrants from those areas are able to successfully merge into the general population. At the time of WWII, WASP's were an important ethnic group but have basically merged socially into the general white population since then. There is good reason to think that most 2060 Hispanics won't know Spanish and will only have a symbolic presence in East LA or Spanish Harlem.
Had similar predictions been made in most eastern cities in 1920, most would have projected that Italians or Eastern Europeans would 'dominate' the country in 1965.
2 things will probably change things: 1 is that most Hispanics WILL be tagged as "anglo white" and 2, the birthrate of them is already dropping like a rock.
Tagged as Anglo White? The vast majority of Hispanics in the U.S look nothing like Anglo Saxons of British ancestry because most Hispanics are Mixed Race Triracials of African, Spanish, and Amerindian ancestry.
Saying Spanish speaking Brown Amerindian/Mestizos can racially become WASPs is like saying men can genetically become women and can become capable of getting pregnant.
Making predictions about what will happen fifty years from now is a fool's game, but if I had to guess:

Ever notice the lack of blond haired children in urban inner city schools that are predominantly Hispanic. Predominantly Hispanic urban inner city schools in cities like New York City and Los Angeles is just a sea of all black hair.
But if you go to a predominantly Gringo school whether private or public, you see a lot of blond haired children.
