How do moderate Republican and moderate Democrat voters deal with radicals that are on the same party as them?

I denounce them, whether they be people I know or people somehow voted in to some kind of office.

Extremism, on either side, is not good.

Over here in the Democratic Party, we listen, we talk, we agree to disagree. We don't have purges we're to disorganized to do that.

The vast majority of moderates are not silly enough to consider themselves "belonging" to a political party. That's limited to the ones so blinded by political party dogma, they have stopped thinking for themselves.

So true. In this day and age, anyone who is aligned with a party by more than a box they checked years ago when they registered is hardly a moderate. In many places including my own area, IND is the biggest "party" and the one that, of course, does not get a say in who is running for many offices.

I don’t think there’s such thing as a “Moderate Democrat” anymore.

i always encourage reading about things for more understanding...an educated voter is less likely to let fear work on them

get rid on human fears and the more we get along, magnify those fears and we get populism

Of course there are. Just like there are still moderate republicans. Although, I think they consider themselves Regan republicans.

I haven't heard a democrat calling a fellow democrat a dino yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it happens. I still don't understand what a rino is lol

There are no moderate Republicans. The party has moved so far to the right that anything slightly right of center is now considered “leftist”

I see few Dems fighting to raise taxes to levels seen during Truman or Ike. Not many seem to be in favor of cutting the military. The Dems healthcare law is essentially Bob Dole’s. These are not extreme leftists. To call them that is disingenuous.

Anyone calling these Dems extreme leftists needs to look at policies in other industrialized nations and gain a sense of perspective.
