1. The Person I responded to made a false claim that i then debunked by simply reading the article.
Whether im defending the times or not does not change the fact that the person I responded to was wrong.
2. You put forth nothing to negate the fact that News papers, during the primary process, do indeed do this kind of reporting on both sides as I showed when it came to then candidate Obama and his parking tickets.
Next time, debate the issue instead of one liners that add nothing to the discussion.
no.
this is stupid and everyone needs to get that.
and the NYT attacked the one person Hillary says Hillary fears.
oh and it is actually news when a presidential candidate goes 15 years without paying parking tickets....
this thread is about a nothing issue. comparing it to that very minor blerb report is the same as comparing bananas and arctic foxes.
In a clip shown by Stewart, The Times' Sheryl Gay Stolberg defended the coverage, saying running for president opens every aspect of your life to public scrutiny.
"This is kind of the game, right?" she said.
“Yeah sure, it’s a game, it’s a ****ing game,” Stewart said. “What’s The New York Times gonna do, exercise editorial control? No. It’s like their motto says, ‘Don’t hate the paper... hate the game.'”

there is nothing at all to compare the things.
Oh, i agree it is stupid, but unlike you , I think both stories are stupid. But again if people like you want to argue context, it is indeed worse to run a red light than it is to have a parking ticket on a college campus.
And seeing as it was on a college campus, it could have been escrowed into his Harvard account.

Thats your opinion.
None of this changes the fact that you responded to a factual comment and tried to change the subject to "defense of the NYT".
If you dont like the subject matter, respond to someone else, but dont respond to me and then run from the actual subject of the comment. The Person I responded to was wrong, plain and simple.
So Marco Rubio has received four traffic tickets since 1997 and his wife has received 13. They (either he and/or his wife) have apparently also attended defensive driving. Marco Rubio and his family are apparently so clean that this is the best effort at a smear story that the New York Times can come up with.
Surely this is a scandal that the left can use to ruin Marco Rubio, a politician that they fear to their very core. A Hispanic conservative Republican who is well spoken, attractive, super smart, balanced and under control.
OH MY GOD!!! CRUSH, KILL, DESTROY!!!
Have no fear, the New York Times in on the case. And MSNBC is sure to try and do everything they can to make this into a major story, especially Rachel Maddow.
No word about the findings of the smear investigations that they have going on Bernie Sanders, Martin O'Malley, or Lincoln Chafee. Of course Hillary Clinton has not driven during this period, as she has a paid chauffeur to drive her around all this time and more.
