G7 Bavaria summit: 26 hours of climate, trade and Ebola talks

This is preposterous. Obama is bringing 2000!!!! people of his "entourage". They need 17000 policemen to protect the thing. Are these still the representer of the people or are they looking at their people as their enemy?

I absolutely agree. All the while they are talking about "enviromental challenges".

Its even more expensive for the city that is hosting the event.

When Pittsburgh had a similar meeting back in 2009, the city was essentially paralyzed for 4 days, it was virtually impossible to go through certain sections of town because of the security these VIP's demand.

It would be better if they held these meetings at an undisclosed air force base in the desert, where security could be more easily assured.

Notice how the bankers charge the government who charge the people to pay the bankers
for forwarding the bankers agendas.
Isn't that cute ? They are so special. Truly an elite subspecies.
If you don't like that, they have the power to sic the army on you. Here, take a look
at an official DoD document.

G7/8 has been meeting for 40 years.

Would you have the U.S. sit it out?

but then these people couldnt stay at 4 and 5 star hotels and be waited on hand and foot. they may actually have to get up and get their own drinks if they followed your suggestion.

.

Not really, the VIP's could bring their servants with them to the secure facilities.

Further, a visit out to the desert, frozen tundra or other remote location provides for less distraction so the VIP's could get down to business doing whatever they are supposed to be doing.
