NOBODY in office has had the balls to address border security like they should have - Reagan's amnesty didn't do a damn thing to thwart the problem; if anything, it probably contributed to it. Obama is adding more under that same rug as he sweeps the problem in with the rest of them.
What "fence"? You mean the one GWB was supposed to build but never did? Obama has deported more illegals than any other President in history.
Wrong. He's just given a pass to five million illegals. That's far more than he's deported. So his deportation number so far is about MINUS four million.

Doing nothing for 30 years is not an accident.
No fence is high enough nor troops deep enough will diminish illegal immigration so long as employers continue to recruit and hire undocumented workers.
In my neck of the woods the Eastern Europeans arrive on tourist visas. They have no problem becoming employed especially in the trades. They return home for the holidays, rinse and repeat.

I am unaware of any difference between parties, beyond campaign rhetoric, whereby the majority blame the other team. I am especially fond of politicians who grandstand on remarks like " we need more jobs" and the crowds go wild for them. That's pandering, not a plan.
We could reduce corporate tax to zero and not create progress towards creating middle- class jobs.

Given consumer debt, it appears most folk do not live within their means.
The masses sucked the equity out of their homes during the housing bubble and used the proceeds to live beyond their means. It employed a heck of a lot of people for a blip in time.
Obama IS the CURRENT president and a very vocal cheerleader for this BS.
Maybe you should read up and actually see where his attempts at forcing his FAILING "immigration" agenda will lead to ?
We can't change the mistakes that prior president's ( especially Reagan) have made, but we can and should prevent Obama from making more like he intends to.
Obviously the current president has not learned from the mistakes if the past.
What is "pathetic" is all the excuses made for this clown.
And instead, the U.S. continues to do nothing, no different than the past 30 years- no accident. It does not matter who sits the oval or holds the majority.
