Why would China fight the US? Just because US propaganda tells China is an enemy?
Neither Chinese people nor China government has interest in fighting the US.

We rely on each other. We may not like it, but that is the way it is.
America's greatest threats are truly from within. The loud fundamentalist religious right with their anti-science agenda is much more destructive to America than all of the terrorist activity combined. Meanwhile, the psychotic corporatist lock on our economy ensures that American jobs will continue to flow to communist China with the resultant weakening of the middle class. China only gets our jobs that "American" corporations send to them.
Good grief! Could you possible list anymore Far Left stereotypes of your political enemies. You would have bashed George Washington, Lincoln, Reagan, and Coolidge. Yet you idolize anti-American Communists like Obama and Wilson and FDR. You really should read the words of Washington - he'd make your blood boil!

What was that you said about stereotyping?
FYI, I voted for Reagan both times. You?
And please post the words of Washington that would make my blood boil. Just so you'd have a point to your little rant.
Of course Chinese military forces consider the US the biggest potential enemy for training purpose and so on. That does not prove anything.
Very few people in China want to fight the US. In fact most Chinese people want to visit and/or live in the US. If you are a successful businessman, would you destroy your major customer?
Can you even read anything in Chinese?
It's not for training purposes, it's a declared strategy. I suspect you know that, you're just an apologist.
Well, the US has stated that regime change in China is its ultimate goal so it is no surprise that China views the US with that level of hostility. The US also wants China to give up Xinjiang and Tibet (both of which adds up to 50% of China's territory and the watershed for its major rivers) while also keeping Taiwan independent from China. The US is also encircling China with bases in Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and the Philippines to a lesser extent. Any country that is the recipient of this hostile behavior would be very anti-American. Russia, for example has become extremely hostile to the West after it expanded NATO.
Interesting you should mention the formerly independent nation of Tibet. Conquered and subdued by China with considerable slaughter and continued oppression. Entirely inappropriate to wish to reverse those actions of course. You also fail to mention that there are actually fewer US bases "encircling China" than there used to be. And you neglect the fact that every nation surround the South China Sea is afraid of China and wants the US to take a much more active hand.
China isn't a threat to America per se. But it's a threat to America's total global dominance. With the goals China has (creating a new world order) correlates a massive decline of America's Standard of Living and to a much lesser extent that of Western Europe.

By China having so much manufacturing and by the US debt to China being what it is, it is a major, major threat, even if it's not an immediate threat.

You're a fraud.
If the US didn't go to war with Japan perhaps Tibet would remain independent. History moves on. America replaced one power for another in Asia, most Americans have no problem with that result and seem to be okay with the Chinese holding onto Tibet. No one recognizes Tibet as a sovereign state after all.

I think U.S. has no problems with the Chinese holding onto Tibet, xin Jiang as long as the situation does not change. If Chinese touches Taiwan, another story. Taiwan is such a beautiful place, nice educated people, great food, great culture. I understand why they want their independence.
