I don't hate the second amendment, and I defy you to quote me stating otherwise. Matter of fact there's a pretty good chance I own more and better firearms than you do.
What I am is apathetic about the second amendment. It's a pretty useless 'right' except as a political tool to convince hicks like myself to vote against their own interests. And even if its intended purpose WAS as a check on Federal power- that's laughable these days in the age of nukes, satellites, and armed UAV's that could vaporize you at a moment's notice while the operator sits behind a desk.

cops are the only industry where they can legally shoot you. cops are train to take control of the situation 100% of the time. so if you mouth off you will get hurt 100% of the time. its like poking a stick at a pit bull, dont blame the dog from biting you.
Its more than what Op says. Its a matter of the supreme court saying if a police officer give you a lawful or tells you are under arrest; you must comply. Per Supreme court ruling if you resist it matters not if the arrest is lawful or not. That is why resisting arrest is a separate charge. Hit the officer and in most states that is a felony.
So should we just get rid of all the police then and let people fend on their own even if they don't want to.
