I'm sure CNN has run more anti-gun pieces than just about any major news organization. I don't know her public position on guns but she obviously wasn't opposed to them for own protection.
Is it legal to have a loaded gun in a hotel room you're staying in, if you don't have a CCW license?
Depends on the state.
An American state like NM says yes.
Totalitarian regimes like NJ or MD probably prohibit lawful citizens from defending themselves when traveling, but do next to nothing to keep the guttersnipe criminals from being armed and on the prowl.
Anyone else surprised a former CNN anchor was staying at a Motel 6?
