Hmm, but what happens when the first zombie gets in?

It's cool looking, but 10 minutes after the big solar flare hits, the security guards will move right in. Survivalist fail.

Pretty bizarre possibilities under the wrong circumstances.
A bunch of survivalists who are used to having money, power and their own way, all locked up tight in a cozy prison of their own making. Each with a fine arsenal of weapons. First they protect themselves from the outside world and after that they protect themselves from each other.
Could end up being the epic paint ball shoot out of all time only with real bullets.

I am going to die. Why would I want to live at that point?

They need air from somewhere, unless they can make their own oxygen forever....

Right where I'm at... tons of wind and hydroelectric energy around.. plenty of food... low population density... world is not going to 'end' .. unless we get a major EMP episode from the sun that destroys most of the world's transformers.. in that case half the world's population will likely be dead within 2 months.
