As djmilf certainly knows quite well, Anthony Watts is not saying either. Watts takes the position that the climate has always changed and always will, which is the exact opposite of what djmilf knowingly and falsely attributed to him.

As far as the man-made contribution to our current climate, Anthony Watts believes that we pretty clearly do not know for sure the extent of man's total contribution to current climatic conditions, but that the warming predictions generated from the models of the government-funded scientists that support the AGW alarmism hypothesis have clearly been consistently and spectacularly wrong, and all to the hot side.

And we can hold off of Watts comments on the warmists "adjusting" of the data and cooking of the books for some other time.

Lots of fodder for feeding the RW . i'd put more credibility behind a scientific publication on the condition of the climate that some RW tabloid that has a heavy RW political agenda.

The United States occupies a portion of the world.

Well, a lot of us like to think for ourselves. Of course, it is OK that you apparently do not share that desire.

Look, if you know anything about sailing, you'll understand how important wind is, and how there are wind currents which tend to move largely in a predictable way, depending on times of the year. This is also true of ocean currents as well.

If the temperature changes(or even if the air composition changes), it can have a major effect on wind patterns and ocean currents. A warming Earth doesn't mean every part of the Earth warms up at the same rate, or even at all.

If you've ever looked at a temperature anomaly map, you'll see that some parts of the Earth are even colder today than back in 1880. But does that mean that the Earth hasn't warmed since 1880?

Every time science makes a breakthrough (such as realizing the instruments were at fault and there was no pause), anti-science stages an aggressive campaign to attack, distract, obscure and mislead.

Watts realized he hadn't made an arbitrary, cherry-picked climate data graph in a while so he went ahead and made one.

Big woop.

Problem with those publications is they parrot the same thing without checking the data.

And yet scientists cherry-picked data to get the results desired and then triumphantly stated no pause existed. Using data temps from ships seawater engine cooling temps which artificially inflates the temps while disregarding the ARGOS buoys. But keep chasing the warming dream.

He likes AGW because he gets carbon tax money.

Apparently, only NOAA's instruments were faulty - all other data-sets still show the pause.

Or, to put it in layman's terms... PARIS OR BUST!
