No prediction here but all all this is happening too quickly. Whatever happened to our integrity and to preserve culture and norm? Nothing wrong with any of this and I respect the right to free speech and now "feel". But I really think this "why does it matter" mentality is going too far. We need to step back and assess the long term impact. It's fine for a person to identify with a certain culture or sex but having prime time tv reality shows with Bruce aka Caitlin, Ryan seacrest producing a show with a father of 3 now becoming a mom, white woman identifying as black... This is a bit too much too quickly.
So do you want to force everyone to pretend to be like you because you are uncomfortable with people being different to you? Or what?
"LEMON: Since Rachel Dolezal story made headlines comparisons have been made between transracial and transgender. So let's talk about this now with Jeff Gardere he's a Psychologist and Professor of Behavioral Medicine at Touro College, and Zoey Tur Transgender News Reporter and Special Correspondent for Inside Edition. I'm so happy to have both of you on.
ZOEY TUR, TRANSGENDER TV NEWS REPORTER: Well, this weekend I took a number of callers and they were arguing if Bruce Jenner can call himself, himself, a woman why can't Rachel Dolezal call herself black. And the problem is, from a philosophical standpoint I can't argue with that. I have no where to go. I know gender dysphoria is in the pediatric textbook. I don't see transracial dysphoria anywhere in this book.
So I've been sucked into this and I really don't know where to go because maybe they have a point. Maybe Bruce Jenner can be a woman without getting all the surgeries. Maybe I'm really still a man. You know, who's to say."
Let's see...today I'll be a Mexican lesbian woman. Next week.....I'll try life as an Asian Hetro man. Week after that....I'll decide to marry 3 women and two men in a plural marriage in my "I have rights too" test case. Then, just for kicks, I'm going to marry my sister too....she's over 18 (adult)....and "we're into it".
Next, I'll start a reality show where viewers vote on the next crazy "look at me" scheme.

Guess you know where I stand.

You guys are on a roll, reminds me of this skit from back in the day.
Though in all seriousness, since America is composed of immigrants from all over the world, after a few generations I doubt the vast majority of us can claim to be "purebreds".

No one is forcing anyone to watch any program they don't want to watch.

Legitimizing the lunatics and crazies, and pretending they are now mainstream.
What makes you qualified to call anyone a lunatic or crazy? What a transphobe! Not Cool!
Does that make you a transphobephobe?
