I hope this case will show that capital punishment is valid and correct and we need to use it in this case. We need to kill this person and delete him from existence.
Capital punishment doesn't deter and has led to the state killing innocent people.
The system needs an overhaul alright, but at the very bottom as soon as these kids are born.
You're talking about after the horse has left the barn and it would seem the problem stems from whose been tending the livestock and leaving the door open for them.
Moral and ethical standards have to vastly improve for the bulk of society before this problem will ever change.
You start executing all the piece-of-trash murderers who are endowed with racist and/or mentally deficient tendencies; you'd better come up with a far more efficient method than lethal injection, unless you're prepared to have it done on an assembly line, moving platform, basis with robots and the same needle being used over and over again.
It's too bad Southern officials don't actually work on lowering the crime rate. But, no, they're too busy serving the masses feel-good nonsense like executions. Then they cross their fingers and hope that the residents of those states don't start paying attention to a little thing called reality and notice that Northeast, the Midwest and the West all have significantly lower violent crime rates than the South. They give their people pablum and the crime rates stay high. And the people can't be bothered to demand more from their public so-called servants.
It's a pity that some people blindly accept as gospel whatever radical proposals the Obama administration puts out. Notice how there was never all this "gun control" nonsense before the current administration?

Bullying often starts in the primary grades with kids as young as 5 showing these tendencies, Just give them a 'Judge' all loaded with .410 three pellet shot and they can take down the whole front row of desks at once, teachers will be very pleased at the assistance to maintain order.

With over 11 million concealed carry licenses in the US, you are in close proximity to concealed firearms a lot more often than you think.
Not to mention that the TSA only catches 5% of items smuggled through "security checkpoints", so not only is someone in your grocery store probably packing, but so has someone on some of the flights you've ever been on. You might have even sat next to them.
The fact that these things so rarely happen considering the hundreds of millions of weapons & people in this country is actually fairly amazing. It's still horrible when it does happen obviously. But with as many deranged people we have in this country, frankly it's surprising it doesn't happen more often.
I don't know if you are referring to machine guns, or semi auto rifles when you refer to rapid fire assault weapons. No one is shooting fully automatic assault rifles out there.
Maybe you are referring to semi auto rifles like the AR15. If that is the case then you would be surprised to know that the handgun used in the church shooting has the exact same firing rate as the demonized AR15.
Both shoot 1 projectile each time you pull the trigger. All semi auto firearms have the same rate of fire.
Soldiers are armed with full auto weapons, they would not consider going to battle with an AR 15
I don't know where you went through military training but we were trained to use semi in almost all situations back in the day before our rifles were limited to three round burst.
Gun control is needed now more than ever. No background checks? Really? Ridiculous.
Background checks are already in the current laws. You have to get an FBI background check for handgun's.
