Because Democrats see this monstrosity for what it is. What's the Republicans' excuse?

Cruz followed the union-Democrat line and thinks he is some kind of hero. Only the dumbest of Republicans will admire him for it, but that's his natural market.

How does paying less for American labor enrich America?

Or did you mean 'America' in the global sense?

Nope... his leadership skills are just about nonexistent, as has been shown time after time.

Default Reality check for the liars

That trade bill that they're going to blame entirely on Obama and the Democrats when it turns out to be a disaster? The Republicans voted for it overwhelmingly and the Democrats voted against it overwhelmingly

48 Republicans and 14 Democrats voted for it. 32 Democrats and 5 Republicans voted against it in the Senate and in the House Voting yes were 28 Democrats and 190 Republicans.. Voting no were 158 Democrats and 50 Republicans.

And your rightist Congress is speeding the bill through.

Gotta love how Republicans are basically serving this bill up to Obama on a silver platter....it basically ruins the theory that they would vote against anything that Obama wanted....

No, in todays America the most active and lucrative parts of our economy are finance and financial services. followed by health care and pharmaceuticals . Virtually all our economic growth comes from them and they are displacing less profitable areas of our economy. Most Americans don't participate or work in these economic sectors so they get little benefit from their success. TPP and TA business zone which will tie use to the EU will give Wall Street and the other big financial firms i.e. Banks, Insurance Co, Limited capital partnerships, real estate trusts, Securities firms etc free access to do what they do here and will benefit greatly as a result. Rich Americans will get seriously rich since their liquidation of others futures won't be confined to just the USA. Just think how rich they will be when they unlock all the shareholder value in such Japanese Companies as Toyota, Hitachi, Mitsui, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Sony, or Honda like they did in corporate America. Why should these companies make anything in a high wage ecomony like Japan?
