It's a most disgusting distraction to try and assign blame. We know who voted for it and against it.
The result is that the government for and buy ( spelling most appropriate ) the people is broken. It had a weakness in the armor. It will be some years before the pain is felt and it will be an unrelenting pain. Politicians who want to exceed their authority are nothing new. Trade has a long history, and that history should be examined. Until, we the people, lay siege to the moneyed interest, who use the politicians as puppets in the ultimate power grab, we are lost. We were once like a tree that had many uses. Now we are like driftwood on the beach.

This is the last statement in the link provided.

Nixon proposed that Congress allow him simply to proclaim changes to U.S. law required to implement trade
pacts. Besides being unconstitutional, this was politically unacceptable to Congress. Fast Track was the “compromise.”

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." - Thomas Jefferson.
Is it necessary to declare Independence again, craft another Constitution ?
Fix the problem then sit back and let history decide who is to blame. Plenty of time to consider that.

Congress gave up their right to ratify TPP and it's spinoffs.
Obama has been working on this for 6 years along with big business.

The parts of TPP and it's spinoffs that have been put on wiki leaks should scare the pants off any American because America is going to become a global land of opportunity for anyone living anywhere in the world.

This is going down just like NAFTA if any of you here are old enough to remember.

This bill isn't going to differentiate between Dems or Repubs.

Hillary has kept silent on this. She's a globalist as is Bill. Think of the power that will be handed to her in 2016.

I agree with your statements and in particularly about Hillary. But we are now in a position to elect a king every four years. It really doesn't matter if the name of the king is preceded by Dem.or Rep. It is just a matter of time before we elect a Stalin or a Hitler.

Only for those with global-level money. There aren't that many of them, but they're already in control.

You can take that to the bank.

Trump, if he runs Republican, will be the only GOP candidate I would vote for.
I'll likely be voting for a third party candidate or like my wife, give up even bothering anymore.

Even the lessor of two evils does not hold true now.

Cruz followed the union-Democrat line and thinks he is some kind of hero. Only the dumbest of Republicans will admire him for it, but that's his natural market.

Cruz co-authored an op-ed with Paul Ryan in the Wall Street Journal a month ago promoting Trade Promotion Authority. It was totally gutless to flip on this, for no other reason than pandering. Besides,TPA is not a trade deal. It's simply a part of a process. He knows that quite well and played politics.
