This isn't really new. From 4 years ago:

RealClimate: What if the Sun went into a new Grand Minimum?
Nothing new, as these posters seldom read beyond anything that seems to confirm their bias...The site the OP posted was published yesterday and the study was also published yesterday in the Nature Communications Journal.

I would say that most rational people around the world accept man-made global warming.

The Pope is advised by the Pontifical Academy of Sciences and does have some science education and background (in Chemistry) himself.

You know you're really on the wrong side of history when even the Catholic Church is far ahead of you in matters of science. It took them 359 years to apologise to Galileo

What do you want to bet the leftist's solution to reduced solar activity will be EXACTLY the same as for "AGW"?
The sun entering a minimum stage is caused by AGW.

More then a weak sun, a slowdown of the Gulf Stream which is currently happening may dramatically cool Europe (in the past a slowdown of the AMOC cooled Europe by 2-4C for up to 1000 years) and to a lesser extent eastern North America

Why? AGW alarmists blame everything else on global warming.

By just talking about Global Warming, Obama killed it and now see what he caused. Maybe he can cure Global Cooling by mentioning it too.
