Still an interesting comment when someone says "He just shot a cop".
No better or worse than when some people couldn't care less that a cop killed an unarmed person, justified or not.

Sounds similar to lines from Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs.

"You kill anybody?"
"A few cops"
"No real people?"
"Just cops"

I know quite a few people that think this way. The cops have done a great job at creating an us vs. them environment. I don't know anyone that isn't horrified at the thought of having to deal with a cop, even off duty in the wild. The cop swagger and mindset exists 24/7.

People don't care when a cop kills someone?

I've never feared dealing with cops. I might fear getting an expensive ticket for speeding.

Murder is forever wrong, even if The American judicial system has manifested a similar attitude as the title of this thread regarding black men for centuries: "That police aint do no wrong: He just shot a black"

For "people" like this who have a history of violent crime, there is only one way to ensure they never commit crimes against society again: death.

Why should garbage like this be allowed to live so us taxpayers can house, feed and provide medical care to them? Why should they be shown compassion when they showed their victims zero compassion?

Ah, apparently the point to woman raised has flown clear over most folks heads. Following the "he just shot a cop," comment there was a follow up regarding all the media attention that the shooting of the officer is getting as compared to the lack of media attention - at least in her neighborhood - when a police officer shoots a citizen.

Bingo.

Those that have disdain for police officers, there's usually a reason for that, especially for those that live in poorer, urban areas.
