The Lack of Logic
==\==\==
Those who claim that the Confederate Battle Flag is symbolic of slavery are lacking logic as well as common sense. It is only a symbol for hate in the minds of those who are easily misled for political mischief.
Why?
Slavery existed for more years, under the “Stars and Stripes,” yet no one is rallying around a claim that it signifies hate.
YET, the “Stars and Bars,” which symbolize the LOSING SIDE and the eventual defeat of slavery strikes FEAR into the descendants of slaves and their (ahem) allies.
HUH?
If anything, descendants of slaves should celebrate and honor the Confederate flag as a symbol of slavery’s DEFEAT. If the defeat of one’s enemy is a cause of fear and hatred, we have a problem with common sense.
England ruled the colonies the Union Jack flew the southern colonies incorporated it into their colony colours...and yes I spelled colors as the British do ... Hitory is now Racism a modern liberal term.

I've never held the Confederate Flag or held any garment with it on it and detested what it represented to some white supremacists. But I'm tempted to buy and wear some Confederate Flag gear to give the finger to the Political Correctness Nazis (PCN's).

Reason: supplemented
Some quotes about the cause of the war from prominent confederate documents:
Declaration of Causes, Mississippi:
"Our position is thoroughly identified with the institution of slavery—the greatest material interest of the world. Its labor supplies the product which constitutes by far the largest and most important portions of commerce of the earth. These products are peculiar to the climate verging on the tropical regions, and by an imperious law of nature, none but the black race can bear exposure to the tropical sun. "
Declaration of Causes, South Carolina:
"We affirm that these ends for which this Government was instituted have been defeated, and the Government itself has been made destructive of them by the action of the non-slaveholding States. Those States have assume the right of deciding upon the propriety of our domestic institutions; and have denied the rights of property established in fifteen of the States and recognized by the Constitution; they have denounced as sinful the institution of slavery; they have permitted open establishment among them of societies, whose avowed object is to disturb the peace and to eloign the property of the citizens of other States. They have encouraged and assisted thousands of our slaves to leave their homes; and those who remain, have been incited by emissaries, books and pictures to servile insurrection."....."This sectional combination for the submersion of the Constitution, has been aided in some of the States by elevating to citizenship, persons [slaves] who, by the supreme law of the land, are incapable of becoming citizens; and their votes have been used to inaugurate a new policy, hostile to the South, and destructive of its beliefs and safety."
Declaration of Causes, Louisiana:
"The people of the slave holding States are bound together by the same necessity and determination to preserve African slavery."
Jefferson Davis:
"You too know, that among us, white men have an equality resulting from a presence of a lower caste, which cannot exist where white men fill the position here occupied by the servile race."
Florida secessionists, 1861:
"At the South, and with our People of course, slavery is the element of all value, and a destruction of that destroys all that is property."
--Just in case anyone was doubting confederate motivations for war. People say that you can't judge the South for supporting slavery because it was common at that time period, and had been in existence for a long time before the 1860s. To this I say bull-hockey. To justify owning another human being requires an absurd amount of mental gymnastics. I don't understand how, taken in this context, anyone could support anything stemming from the confederacy.
Blame the Brits they are the ones who brought slavery here in the first place ban their flag receive reparations from them...while we dither about our past ISIS is enslaving people at this moment killing Christians, homosexuals and all we get from Obama is a history lesson about our transgressions and a Rainbow flag.
I can't think about this now, I'll go crazy if I do...
After all tomorrow is another day...
