Well , I stand corrected Obama does care about our Military...
Transgender troops attending White House LGBT Pride event

This is priority number 1 as far as I am concerned for our next President. Repairing the damage to our Military that we have witnessed over the last 6 years.

I believe the way a nation treats military vets and military says a lot about the character of that nation. So I agree with the op.

The candidate who doesn't treat military and military veterans like human garbage will get my vote.

Indeed Lily, it is reprehensible the regard this admin has had for our military. This is very personal to me, you are not going to get the kind of quality people you need to have the best fighting force in the world when you treat the military as your own little social engineering playground. It is despicable!

I agree that vets deserve to be treated well and with respect for what they did. And our government has done a poor job of giving them the proper treatment upon their leaving of the military, and certainly Obama has done little to address this, as he dis tances himself from military issues to appease his fans.

But he still increased the military budget. All the current problems with the military, like a lack of support for veterans, is an issue that predates Obama by quite some time. To say we've seen damage in the last 6 years is without evidence, which is why I will hold the OP to an explanation, which I assume I will not get. We've seen damage to our veterans for the last 30+ years. Our military however is still growing and still saturated with funds. The military is doing absolutely fine.

The military is packed full of authoritarians.

Some call it "leadership".

Here, and you can decide if these are true or not

President Obama is weakening America's defenses

Sadly, the White House is completely absent "leadership". Helps explain the disdain for the military.

At 14%, Obama's support among the military has almost hit rock bottom. That tells me all I need to know.
