Well, I have to admit that this has been a fun thread!
The Palin apologists have tried their best to deflect attention away from the hilarious hypocritical actions of the Palins and their followers by trying to focus on Chelsea Clinton, although the comparison is ridiculous, and that's a charitable adjective to describe it. It's the best they can do, though.

Can't you just admit that Bristol is an attractive young woman who has inherited her mom's intellect and he dad's libido?
At 24, she's not a young girl - she's an adult. An adult who has owned several homes that she bought through money raised on the abstinence lecture circuit, has starred in her own TV show and appeared in her mom's reality show, performed on Dancing with the Stars, and has publicized her blog where she judges other people on a regular basis. It was on the blog that this news broke, in her own words (because if that was a publicist, they should be fired), not the "libs" picking on her.

As a grown woman, I'm not sure why she feels the need to apologize for her pregnancy like she's a 16 year old other than the guilt of her hypocrisy. I could care less about the actual pregnancy.
I saw this and laughed. I couldn't help it. I don't follow the Palin clan, I just see stuff when it's on my Homepage and can't be avoided.
It is a shame in a way. That whole family was given an opportunity most people aren't. But at least now they can do what they do in a bigger house I guess.

Well, you can't teach class. You're either born with it or you're not. I don't think anyone would confuse the Palin clan with the former.
I get it Bristol Palin is a hypocrite, that's indeed true, but I just don't feel anything about her pregnancy. And don't really see the point in attacking her personally.
To me her mom for political reasons put her out there to preach abstinence.
The sad reality is that conservatives in 2015 just as in 1955 are trying to control the sexual women/teens by denying and limiting access to birth control, which has proven over and over again to reduce unwanted pregnancies in teens and single women to push the disastrous idea of abstinence only sex education which leads to more pregnancies.
That's the story here, the failed disastrous policy of abstinence only sex education to prevent teen pregnancy or unwanted pregnancies that conservatives against objective reality continue to push to control the sexual behavior of Americans.

I'm not sure what's taught in her school. What was and is taught by her family is 100% abstinence until marriage. Period.
None of this would matter if during her teen pregnancy where she was clearly not practicing abstinence her mother hadn't decided to run for VP. Her own mother shown the spotlight on her 16 yr old daughter.
Bristol then went on Oprah and hailed abstinence until marriage as the "right choice" pledging to never again have sex outside of marriage. Obviously that was a failure.
