We have pride months for almost every other race, ethnicity, religion, orientation, etc, yet if a white person simply says they are proud to be white, they are instantly branded a racist. If a black person is proud to be black, they are "empowered" and praised.

However, these types of incidents raise uncomfortable questions about why white advocacy is so discouraged, and why simply being proud of being white is hated, even if no one is harmed by doing so. I can be proud that I'm white without subjugating a black person.
because its not political correct, you might hurt someone feelings. its like the 'white entertaintment television" channel. its not going happen because somebody will get their feeling hurt
Because the people opposing "white advocacy" are racist. They want to deny whites the same privileges and pride in what they are that every other race is actually encouraged to have. Personally I find the idea of "advocacy" based on any particular race to be foolish.

Right - I wouldn't see the backlash if the left didn't encourage it.
In China, the media never advocate "Han Chinese" either, and in fact it is not allowed.
But it is politically correct to say "Tibetans are brave", "Uyghurs are hopitable”......

Why is this concept ignored or demonized?
Only because of people who represent the idea, and scream aloud. BTW, what would you like to celebrate or recap with this idea?

Why is this concept ignored or demonized?
This is because the groups that have promoted 'white pride' are usually also promoting white supremacy. Whites are made up of many ethnic groups who identify first with their own ethnicity or culture and after that being white. Whites are the majority in the US, so there should be no inherent need to also promote how proud of themselves they are. White males in the US have excluded other groups, including women, from many things for much of US history. Is that the 'white pride' that so badly needs to be promoted?
Most of the ethnic pride and female movements in this country have arisen in response to being excluded and feeling powerless. Minor things like being allowed to vote and to have a decent job.
Google 'white pride' and see what comes up.
