I give attention where it is necessary, and often overlooked, such as your own lack of realization on how much you agree with every USSC decision.

Well, at the moment, I am having a debate here with a young attractive brunette that will obviously gain more of my attention than you, so I bid you good evening. I think we will go debate in another room.

God help you or anyone else that found themselves on the side of the oppressors. BTW, do you have plans to attend?
Are you naive to how loony our younger generations are becoming?

All it will take is a few more Dylann Roof's to get the ball rolling...

This is exactly what I'm talking about. And with all the airheads we have coming up for the newer generations (the "white privilege" buyers and gay marriage equality youngsters) getting more and more liberal, I foresee a total ban somewhere down the road.

It's amazing to me...the obtuseness in this thread is exactly what I'm talking about. I'm 35...I guarantee there is - if not a total ban, as someone else posted, enough restrictions (locks, magazine capacity, bullet restrictions) that it will render them useless.

Doesn't matter if one accepts them or not. Their word is the final say on whether a law is constitutional or not. This, only if someone challenges a law. The SC can't act otherwise.

Now if someone doesn't like the decision, they are always free go to the congress and push for either a law that is Constitutional or to amend the Constitution itself. This is also the way it works.

This is pretty simple stuff. Long winded arguments are not necessary.

There are two sides to any gun control legislation.
The RWNJ gun owners see it as "their gonna take our guns away"
The Left wing loonies see it as "their gonna force everybody to carry guns"

I doubt any rational thinking people believe either of those, not matter if you vote right or you vote left.

As a gun owner myself I am in favor of restrictions. Background checks should be mandatory in all states. I don't care how some people interpret the 2nd amendment, nut cases and those with criminal records should not have the same rights like us "law abiding citizens"

Obama just said the other day that mass shootings don't happen in other countries as he once again used a national tragedy to try and push his political and gun control agendas. Tunisia has the lowest gun ownership rate of any country in the world yet 19 people were shot and killed there back in March and 38 people were shot and killed by a lone gunmen just yesterday. Please Obama, tell us again how mass shootings don't happen in other countries.

Bustle

Another class of people who we need to wonder about gun rights for is political or religious extremists who believe political or religious power flows from the barrel of a gun. No should be starring down the barrel of a gun held by a member of The Symbionese Liberation Army, The Islamic State of America or The National Socialist White Peoples Party!

As a "gun owner" you should be aware already that background checks are already mandatory in all states.

Been there and done that in "District of Columbia vs. Heller", 2008. Look into it.
The Supreme Court is, quite literally, a living breathing entity. Justices leave the bench, one way or the other over the years. Who's to say that in the future a similar case, to any already ruled upon case, is brought to the USSC, which would then be made up of different justices. They could find in favor of the new case.

The placement of the last several whackos on the SC and the trend of leftism should be clear to all by now....

We will have liberal SC in not very long and they will be activist in nature and I foresee self defense rights crippled, Second Amendment rights, crippled.

This country is turning into a leftist turd of a nation. The younger generations are so indoctrinated with leftism at this point they would get beat into serfdom and think it would be good and ask for more.
