It should be made legal for women to sell sex without going to jail. The women are not harming anyone when they do so. Its time for America to move forward with legal prostitution. They can even tax it if they like.

You must be a sexist. Why would you limit the practice of prostitution to only women?

Why is porn legal but not prostitution? That has never made sense to me. Both involve being paid for sex. Just one is in front of a camera and one is not.

State laws banning prostitution are unconstitutional, and promote free sex.

You can't tax what is free.

It's like gifting.

I saw the Shawshank Revaluation on TV last night.

It's legal in much of Nevada. What's the problem?

Yeah, okay. As long as it is a service rendered by one consenting adult to another consenting adult, I can agree with that.

Please note that the above does not imply that I agree with prostitution. What it does imply is that my opinion, one way or another, should not infringe upon the rights of others to do as they please, assuming it is not outright harming anyone else. Opinion should not be law. Some people do not understand that. A republic is a form of government wherein those citizens' rights to free agency are protected under law. It in no way precludes you from your "morals." It simply gives all the right to chose their will and protects others from becoming subject to your will.

Do you believe in the right for middle men to make money off prostitution - pimps or brothels? Many women are coerced into prostitution and risk harm if they leave their masters. Any legalization should also bring protections. Canada's prostitution law is celled the "Protection of Communities and Exploited Persons Act".

Honestly, I agree. It's their body, and if they want to sell themselves and risk their safety for some cash, why not?
