You're still not answering the question. In what ways do they lack opportunities for improvement that other unemployed anywhere else don't?

The link to the video in the OP's post doesn't work, and one of the categories that it is tagged under is "Coon Of The Day," which should raise some suspicions about the intentions of those who post there. The other video that the third or fourth poster linked to in the thread gives no indication why the African-American kid who was being assaulted *was* being assaulted, so I'm not sure what the point of this thread is other than to offer those who think that young black males are "savages," as one poster so originally put it, confirmation of their pre-existing biases. Nothin' new here; let's all move on.

Does it really matter WHY he was assaulted? I mean, unless this kid just kicked someone's child or murdered their dog - I don't see why a human would be assaulted like this.

And why did they beat him? Because of his "race". Therefore, this was a racist attack, by a group of black people, who assaulted a black child.
And to that, I can only add "dayam!"

Yeah, it does, because the OP said that the victim was assaulted *because he got good grades.* The links that were posted give no evidence of that, so that claim was unwarranted. That's all I'm saying. The stated claim and the reasons posted do not match. Of course it's horrible that this kid was assaulted. Who would argue against that?

The OP made the *why* of the attack the major point of the thread. So, if the *why* is not demonstrated, then there are no reasons to draw conclusions from the example. Once you explain how this thread matters outside of the *why* I pointed out, I'd be happy to talk to you about this further.

LOL. That sure didn't take long.

The article says he was beaten up for making the honor roll.

This ironically at Martin Luther King high school. (i.e. named after a man who advocated no violence)

My point is that there are no "whys" that can justify the attack. What if he was attacked for calling someone stupid? What if it was for stealing someone's girlfriend? It's irrelevant. He was attacked, it was brutal (teeth knocked out/concussion/stitches), no one helped and the attackers laughed/bragged about it.

This thread matters because it's another snippet displaying "humans" at the lowest of lows. Beatings like this, the knock out game, toddlers beings assaulted, 80 yr olds punched in grocery stores, teachers being assaulted in class - the incidents are piling up and who knows - next time it could be you or me. I sure as hell want to know what's out there.

This thread was made to give an opportunity for racist to gather and talk about Black people and for Blacks to defend the actions of people they don't know.

White people beat each other up all the time because of grades, girls, hair and eye color, social economic status or just because they want to start something.

These are the types who promote hate. Most don't buy into but a few do. We wonder why we have incidents like what happened in S. Carolina.

I wish people like this would leave the country and go somewhere they can be happy by their own kind.

Suppressed by who? It is Democrats who have been in charge of these communities for decades. And usually black Democrats at that. They have literally chosen (at the ballot box) to be suppressed. They have in fact suppressed themselves.
