Socialism in the 21st century says no humor if it even momentarily involves perceptible difference in the human condition (unless you're trying to go for laughs with "Faux News" or "conservatard" refs.):

_"Amy Schumer slams critics calling her out for making racially insensitive jokes: 'I am not racist'"_

NYT's Manohla Dargis tries to get Ted 2, injects race:
_"Review: In ‘Ted 2,’ the Foulmouthed Bear Tries to Prove He’s Human"_

The Office's creator, Stephen Merchant, says that "increasingly now it feels like it’s the liberal agenda that dictates what can and cannot be joked about," and adds, "I don’t think The Office would have got off the ground if we’d made it now. I think it would have been shut down. I think the BBC would have been too jumpy."

Jerry Seinfeld has commented about this stuff too...apparently a lot of comics wont perform at colleges for this very reason.

The trailers for Ted 2 looked funny but now I won't go see it. When it comes to race this is exactly how I view family guy.

“Ted 2” comes off as more inept and thoughtless than intentionally hateful.
South Park pulls off comedy about race much better. I think its because the writers of South Park get that racism still exist and that there is such a thing as white privileged. That doesn't mean they let minorities off the hook and don't treat them as sacred cows. You'll see them use George Zimmerman to tackle white privilege and then turn around and criticize the pathetic faux thug culture of someone like Kanye west. When it comes to jokes on race Mc Farlan is as cheap as a black comedian making the B.E.T. comic view rounds.

This has turned completely asinine. If someone would have told me this country would go to **** like this 40 years ago I would have laughed in their face. What capped it in the azz for me was the moment a 60 some year old man turned himself into a girl and everyone called him a hero instead of sending him to the physc ward.

What does that rant have to do with Ted 2, comedy or race relations?

You're repeatedly trying to divert the argument to rarely funny stuff like Family Guy and trying to misinterpret the valid points commentators are making about the new socialist times.

I am not diverting the thread. The creator of Ted and Ted 2 is the creator of Family Guy. The second article actually mentions how the movie's treatment of race is similar to Family Guy. I am not misinterpreting anything. I simply disagree that criticizing a movie equals socialism. Seth Mc Farlan can be funny in a very base, knee jerk way. He appeals to the over entitled child in us all. I love American Dad and generally find Family Guy funny. I would probably find Ted 2 funny s well. However I recognize it as very cheap superficial humor that falls very short of being effective memorable humor. A good comedian will have you laugh at your own world view. Seth Mc farlan can not do that.

I dont understand the comment about Kanye West and being a faux thug. but I agree with the Family Guy comment.

The racial "comedy" is so bad that it doesnt even come off as a joke, it looks like the characters are being serious when they say it and that is part of the problem.
