Some gave a little and then fake PTSD for both VA AND SSDI benefits.

We citizens of America are incredibly lucky to be born in this country.

We all celebrate our good fortune today, our independence, and the establishment of this great nation!

Beautiful. Not sure what it has to do with the 4th though. This day celebrate our independence, which is more a tribute to the bravery of the founding fathers. See, they were good politicians because they actually gave a damn about something that wasn't money. Sure, their were soldiers who made great sacrifice in the Revolutionary War, and that's noble, but there was another sacrifice made by the men who signed the declaration of independence. This was was unique in that even the men who waged the war were in danger of death. Vietnam, WWII, Korea, Iraq; none of these would have lead to a politician's death by execution, but had the Revolution been unsuccessful, every single man who's name was on that document would have been hanged. I don't believe a single politician is currently serving who is brave enough to face such a fate.

No veteran ever did anything for me, but I would like to take today to thank my pizza delivery guy for his promptness in spite of the weather. The marketplace is full of heroes.
