Just how does spending time giving speeches, which are largely meaningless, for tons of money, translate into someone being a good candidate to LEAD the nation?

Her stints in office dont reveal much of that stands out as "wow, look what she accomplished". So besides name alone, what does she really offer based on experience? People, and especially young voters need to know these things.
I agree. Younger voters need to understand that most politicians get a lot of PR and paid speaking engagements that make them wealthy. And many presidents write books while in office which has always bothered me. (Surely, that time could have been better spent unless they all have ghostwriters.)

And some make money as job destroyers, a la Romney.

And some inherit family wealth, a la the Bush brothers.

And regardless how she made her money, I don't yet see anyone running who is more "politically accomplished" than Hillary.

Is that what red states are, pro millionaire? Like in Westchester County and Greenwich and Weston and Atherton?

Not that you care.

She accomplished what exactly? Besides collaborating on an ordered 8-hour stand-down that allowed hooligans to violently loot three adjacent warehouses to arm what would thereafter become ISIS?

It is ironic that politicians from The Party To Protect The Poor And The Working Class end up so rich.

Dianne Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, the Kennedys, John Kerry, the Clintons and -- soon -- Obama, who will probably rack up $100 million in speaking fees in the next decade or two.

It's also ironic that so many supporters of The Party To Protect The Poor And The Working Class are millionaires and billionaires from Silicon Valley, Hollywood and Wall Street.

Didn't Bush and Cheney get all the oil from Iraq and become hugely rich?

I thought that "making it all about money" was supposed to be what the Republicans did -- NOT the idealistic, humanitarian, self-sacrificing Democrats.

???? Really. Then please, describe to me your meaning of "politically accomplished".......

Out of all the candidates in the field now, the most accomplished is actually Perry, if you want to look at it as something that can actually translate to POTUS. No state is perfect, but he has had a very good record in Texas and has spent years governing...leading.

Hillary had a brief stint in the Senate where nothing really stands out. Secretary of State tour that, well, do we need to revisit that? Do you WANT TO? Other than that and being a wife of Bill, where exactly are all her actual accomplishments, let alone political? Unless your meaning in name alone, which sure, having a famous name can indeed get you places, sadly.

Yep. It's funny, they preach and preach doing more for the poor and less fortunate, but when it comes to personal actions, they worry about their personal wealth before anything else. I suppose they really do think it's up to the government (other peoples money) to deal with all that.

I say the same thing about celebrities that claim to be liberal and care sooooo much for the poor and what not. When will you downsize your lives, on a large scale, by donating much of what you have to the less fortunate? None of them do. None of them downsize their lifestyle. And im not talking 10 percent. Im talking where it will impact them, where they cant afford to numerous mansions. Give up 50% or more of your wealth, and theyll still be able to live very comfortably. None of them will ever do that.

It is striking with the video though, that these kids have this idea that only the Republicans can be evil rich bastards. None of them picked a Democrat. Gee, I wonder where they get that idea.....The media and hollywood have so many ignorant fools thinking that the Democrats really are full of middle class folk who forgo fortune to help the poor and what not.
