Have you noticed in news stories where terrorism planners (called lone wolves) are thwarted by the FBI the media doesn't mention if the person arrested is American born, became a citizen, is a visa overstay, is a resettled refugee, snuck into the country, is here on a green card, etc.? Has the media decided to do this on their own or does the FBI not tell the media or do they only tell us if they are American citizens making us believe that everyone arrested is a citizen?
If they aren't American citizens, don't we want to know how they got here? For example, are the embassies not checking out people they issue visas to as thoroughly as they should? Is the State Department not checking out resettled refugees as good as they should? Do we make people citizens without checking them out as thoroughly as we should? Are they people that snuck into the US and from which border?
While on the one hand I'm thinking we should know exactly how they got here if they weren't born here so the problem can be fixed at the source, I'm also thinking maybe the reason the FBI is able to thwart them is because they don't want to tip them off by making the info public and having the terrorists switch methods. Then of course we have the possibility that the FBI is totally up front about how they got here but the PC media has taken it upon themselves to keep it under wraps because they don't want the public to make a stink about how they got here (like, for example, if they came over the border illegally or if they are resettled refugees).

We know they are getting thru the porous borders, and taking advantage of our loose VISA system. And the media keeps the cover of darkness on these events. You are right on all counts.

It's no secret that main scream media, formerly known as legitimate news, has become the propaganda machine of the DNC. They purposely mislead (lie) deflect (lie) and revision (lie) even the most recent historical facts simply to stay on point. After all, the ends justify the means; so they'll never risk all those millions of (illegal) votes over a little collateral damage.

Yes, the media gets to decide what they broadcast, and typically they broadcast the info they have (and which they consider relevant), and sometimes they speculate on info they do not have. Personally I prefer if they didn't speculate when they don't have the facts. Those people who need more information typically go to Google News, which is a site which offers multiple sources for each news event. In this case, the original CBS report did not have the info you were looking for, but the NBC one did.

I have noticed that too in local news and news papers. If a politician is caught with his hand in the cookie jar and he or she is republican it usually says so in the headline or in the first paragraph. If a Democrat that fact is usually buried several paragraphs down.
I think the news casts consider it to be PC not to mention that a criminal just happens to be here illegally. There is such a problem in Boston and the surrounding cities as I suspect there is everywhere. We have a big accident where people are seriously injured or killed and the person who caused it is an illegal without a license but that is seldom mentioned.
It took a time for the status of the Boston Marathon bombers to come out. The Gov. Deval Patrick didn't want to cause good people to take up torches and burn all the people out that may have been confused as a terrorist.
Many aspects of the media do seem to try and protect illegals and would be terrorists but they also seem to forget the would be victims who are citizens or in good status.
The other indicator that the certain groups do not want light shining on an issue is when the paid hacks on C-D are silent and want the thread to slide off of the first page on the list of threads - sort of like this thread...
