Well, one thing we know for sure is some will use any topic as an excuse to whine about Obama, eh?

The Arab Spring was not a spontaneous event. Destabilizing North Africa and Syria created ISIS. O created ISIS.

The World is turning its back on the Middle east. There doesn't seem to be much we can do, they have been fighting each other for centuries. It is this bunch of isis idiots that have gotten our attention again but sadly in the end they are killing themselves and that seems to be OK with the world.
What can we do besides carpet bomb the animals when they pop their heads out of the ground?

isis is like the Nazis in many ways but once Hitler was defeated that was the end of the war. If we took out the isis leaders another one would pop up. If we destroyed isis another group of extremists would take over. It is never ending and the world is weary. In a way the attacks of 911 was the first and final blow in the war over terrorism. Since then we have lost thousands of soldiers and trillions in dollars.

isis will continue their shocking barbaric ways until they have no one left to kill. Then maybe they will turn on each other or just go away.

South Sudan army raped then burnt girls alive

I hate to break it to you, but horrible things happen all over the world. The US can't act like some superhero rescuing everyone all over the planet, there will always be bad things like this happening.
While I agree with your point that there is violence everywhere, ISIS is a projected threat to the U.S. The Sudanese Army is not.

Left alone, ISIS will eventually attack us and they've publicly declared as much. That's the difference and the primary reason we need to get into this fight and defeat them now.

And? Should we invade more countries because extremist groups might invade us? This also means the OP's point about this being for the children us nothing more than a front for more war against the boogieman.

Why shouldn't they? We attacked them first. Would we not do the same thing?

Yeah, let's give a big pass to destabilizing the previously secular Iraq as having nothing to do with the current cesspool, eh? We started our screw ups in the region by backing a coup in 1953, we've apparently learned little/nothing since.

IF ISIS is really a threat to the US considering our defense budget over the past 50 years or so I'd say the real threat resides in that 5 sided building in Virginia.

I bet I've already paid more than you ever will. And the cost will be far higher if we don't get an actual leader in the White House soon. He's turning a blind eye to the growing threat of ISIS and provoking Russia. How does that make sense in the childlike liberal brain? Maybe you could explain it.
