According to you, with nothing to support it but your pro-Progressive corporation opinion.
LOL! I've always worked at large corps, who are quite conservative in every way. $$$$$$ dictate every single decision. No doubt these fine corps projected operating profits dipping if they continued to air this show, and sell this merchandise.

the quantity of progressive corps is ultra tiny.
Not true most "conservatives" don't conserve anything and are just neo-cons or RINOs. Progressive come as Republicans and Democrats both. You act like every decision a corporation makes always makes them more $$$. Completely untrue. Besides I don't care what their motive is only what their actions are. And their actions are the same as the progressives.
Smart corps project consequences and react accordingly.
So now, according to the liberals, corporations like their beloved Walmart are brilliant and everything would be just dandy if we let them run the country.
Mmmkay.

In general, the 70s featured either thought-provoking comedy (Norman Lear) or frivolous stuff like Dukes, Three's Company, Happy days. I doubt there is much market for either extreme anymore.
It's TV Land. They specialize in old shows. What do you expect them to do -- show "Game of Thrones"?
With a minimal revenue stream by now, this was a convenient way to bow out.
If it was so minimal, why didn't they cancel the show before the Confederate flag controversy?
People need to recognize that corporations are at least as likely to be run by liberals as by conservatives, by Democrats as by Republicans.
Either way, they are terrified of being accused of racism or sexism. Just the accusation is enough to scare them. That's why Al Sharpton succeeds in shaking them down.
These decisions are purely political, and have nothing to do with dollars -- at least not until a boycott takes place and has a serious financial effect.
That didn't happen here.
Now, it's time for the American people to vote with their dollars in relation to the following corporations, just as they did with Chick Fil A:
Walmart
Viacom
Comcast
NBC
TV Land
Macy's
Amazon
NASCAR
Warner Brothers
Univision
Sears
Kmart
Ebay
Etsy.com
New York City
(more to be added....)

Wrong.
I've also worked at large corporations.
They are as politically correct as any other institution in America.
They shake in their boots at the thought of being called "racist" or "sexist," and they cut a lot of slack to minorities and women as a result.
