Newsflash: SCOTUS, our highest court, majority rules. Just like in elections.

Honestly, do we have multiple gods or something. I'm catholic, went to catholic schools and to church at least twice a week. Both the nuns and priests taught us to accept and love those who were different and that we may not understand. How can christians have such opposite views.

There is no problem.

It doesn't have to. Equal protection = clerks will issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples and like it. Or, they can find another job.

Neither were the judges who decided Dred Scott v Sandford or Plessy v Ferguson. Come on, I dare you to decry those decisions. Tell me that they were not lawless. C'mon, do it. What are you, a coward?

No i understand the court cases leading up to today but for example 10 years ago the federal protected classes were
Age
Pregnancy
National Origin
Race
Ethnic Background
Religious Beliefs.
Just recently sexual orientation was added.

The question is what qualifies protected class? Minority Status? Why not other minorities who don't have equal protection under the law?

Are you saying that Roberts, Thomas, Alito, and Scalia did not? I am willing to bet that their are some decisions that those honorable men made with which you agree. You will just be hesitant to admit, but that is OK. You are always allowed to be wrong in a democratic society.

Morally reprehensible, but most certainly not lawless. In the years until they were superseded, those decisions were the law of the land. Just like Kentucky's laws against same-sex marriage were the law of the land until recently.

I thought that leftists claimed that the Supreme Court did not make law. Make up your mind already. Which is it!?

I don't think protected class was even mentioned in the Supreme Court ruling?
