You are getting a view of what Mie scattering from micron sized smoke particles does to transmitted incoming solar radiation. If it were Rayleigh scattering from molecular oxygen and nitrogen the sky would be its familiar blue. One can see this in the Middle East or tropical regions like West Africa or India when its is dry season and either dust blows in from adjacent deserts like the Sahara (micron sized dust) or smoke from uncounted fires set by farmers clearing fields or forests to make fields for planting crops. In Nigeria the skys\ would get red sometimes from the dust and smoke. Sunsets would be purple with a blood red sun.

Nationalgeographic and NASA say,

"Average temperatures have climbed 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit (0.8 degree Celsius) around the world since 1880, much of this in recent decades."
Global Warming Fast Facts

"Earth has warmed since 1880. Most of this warming has occurred since the 1970s, with the 20 warmest years having occurred since 1981 and with all 10 of the warmest years occurring in the past 12 years."

I know what is causing it, and so would you had you read my posts.....There are 180 wildfires burning in BC, with several of those fires on Vancouver Island (where I live).....Sorry to disappoint you....The only chemicals being released from aircraft are fire retardants use to combat the fires... Solar radiation management has “three essential characteristics,” notes the International Risk Governance Council (IRGC). “It is cheap, fast and imperfect,” [4] Citing geoengineering activist, David Keith, the IRGC explains that by injecting 13,000 tons of sulphate aerosol into the stratosphere on a daily basis, they would offset the radiative effects of a doubling of atmospheric CO2 concentrations. This compares to having to remove “225 million tons per day of CO2 from the atmosphere for 25 years.”

Smoke-drenched Vancouver takes on dream-like feel:
Frequent wild fires are a natural occurrence and healthy for the forest. What is not natural is the practice of putting them out for a century. This allows massive amounts of fuel to accumulate on the forest floor which results in out of control fires and long term damage to the forest.
