Are you saying you DON'T like the 1st Amendment?

Liberals are so thin skinned.

THEY can say and do anything THEY want and cry when the shoe is on the other foot.

Heck, all this dumb flag controversy makes me want to fly one just as an example of anti-PC.
Just because the Nazi flag doesn't represent racism and antisemitism to someone doesn't mean that's not what it stands for. The same is true of the Confederate flag. Most of us from the South realized that decades ago when the KKK picked it up as its mantle and our good ol'boy neighbors started waving it curiously at the same time while claiming "heritage." Some of those neighbors flew it over the cross they burned in my front lawn in the early 90s. Heritage, my tuches.

But if people want to display their arrogance and disrespect in front of the president, so be it. I hope their neighbors and employers caught a good look at their faces in the news reports.

Maybe they are, maybe they aren't. The thing is, those that are waving the Confederate flag don't get to decide how other see that flag.

The Confederate flag is a symbol of being against authority. Its the idea that the Federal Gov has too much to say over our every day lives and for them to try to ban it is only to make those who follow that thinking more entrenched. This is going to do nothing but make the division in the US greater. But the race baiters like Sharpton and Jackosn love that. It keeps the money rolling in.

Against authority? I thought conservatives were very particular about abiding by the law. But ofcourse that only applies when the laws are being applied to minorities. The conservative mantra is all about anti-US government hate/overthrowing the US government and such rogue elements...we already have many such similar foreign threats to take care of.

What is the issue? The confederate flags aren't banned. No American flags were burned. No harm was done to the President.

Not sure of the reason for this thread.
