This man is so right. Not all illegals should be blamed....but hey...wait a sec. Didn't we all blame the confederate flag on the actions of one person? (BTW...I'm not taking any sides, but you can't have it both ways).

Absolutely they shouldn't be to blame......those who refuse to enforce our immigration laws are to blame.

Apples and oranges.

Here we are talking about the identity of one individual; with the confederate flag, we are talking about the identity of a white supremacist society - because that's what the Confederate South was. But immigrants, whether from central America or elsewhere, have never been premised as all aligning to one identity.

No one is suggesting that Dylann Roof is typical of everyone who waves the confederate flag; what people are suggesting is that the confederate flag represents a societal view fundamentally premised on slavery and white supremacy. At least the societal view under the American flag eventually rejected that premise; the confederate view never did (which is why skinheads and klans-types like that flag so much).

Incidentally, I don't like San Francisco's "sanctuary city" policy.

That is what they are. Your term makes it easier to bash them so I understand why you would want to use it. Read the linked article. It clears up some of your misconceptions.

The article convinced me liberal thugs will do anything to welcome as many murderers, rapists and terrorists as they can.
