"Harry Reid is truly disgraceful."

This is Politics and Controversies - at least post something everyone doesn't agree on.

Heck, even his brother detests him enough to punch him out. LOL

Kate's Law is not a good law but I seriously doubt that Harry Reid blocked it all by himself.

They do not care about undocumented immigrants or, illegals if you prefer, as a threat to their livelihood like they are in rural America or wherever you live. The new sheriff is equally or more pro-amnesty. Also, the issue is that we don't need to bog down our police force to enforce a Federal matter. There are way too many other issues to deal with that are more important that are local. Besides, you have more issues if an illiterate Mexican peasant is a threat to your livelihood. Good luck.
Exactly. Mirakarimi was already a very controversial public figure given his domestic issues and public conduct in San Francisco. He almost got tossed out or by the Supervisors (SF's city council) 3 years ago but managed to survive a narrow vote. He would have been ousted anyway due to his constant antics.

The recent homicide by an undocumented immigrant was a tragic incident and a cause celebre, but none of that outweighs statistics that show that sanctuary policies actually aid rather than hurt public safety.
SF has actually seen overall drops in the homicide rate since adapting the sanctuary policies, and has lower homicide rates than a number of cities that don't have such policies But of course the knee-jerk usual suspects won't recognize that.

I know one of his nephews, seems Reid is more than drunk at family functions. Yes, most of the family finds him hard to deal with.

I am sure Pelosi and Feinstein were behind him, he is a good puppet. This would hurt Pelosi and her plans to destroy San Francisco.

Do you think this is good reasoning?

Democratic Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid immediately voiced his objection to the legislation, arguing it would require a burdensome amount of spending.

That’s when Cruz went off on the senator. Reid objects to Kate’s Law because it would “cost too much,” Cruz said. “We need to spend the money to lock up murderers…It’s cheaper to lose our sons and daughters.”

Reid’s argument highlights “the cynicism of the modern Democratic party,” he added, noting it’s shameful that Democrats would rather side with “violent, felon illegal immigrants” than law-abiding American citizens.

It is unfortunate that Democrats are willing to spend money on Big Government entitlement programs and an unpopular and failing nationalized health care program, but when it comes to Americans’ safety, they look the other way.

Cruz Excoriates Reid

Yeah locking up felons isn't good law, a better law is to just let them roam free and murder at will.

That doesn't change the fact that this will do little to fix anything and is nothing more than a feel good law. Putting illegals in our prison system is probably the worst thing we can be doing. Might as well make them citizens if we do that.

No, letting ILLEGALS roam our streets unfettered is the real lunacy and the absolute worst thing that can be done. Why do you hate this country and it's legal citizens so much that you'd rather see them killed by illegals and jobs taken from legal citizens? Are you illegal yourself?

So, who is committing treason, with the nations sovereignty???
Who wishes to allow illegal aliens to continue to flood across the border and swamp our welfare system?
