This guy has revamped the economy, brought the stock and housing market back to its feet, saved the auto industry, created universal health care, killed Osama Bin Laden, decreased the unemployment rate, increased jobs growth and many others, but people continue to HATE him and disbelieve his successes as President.

Obama is caring, charismatic, intelligent, cool, calm, collective, and he has the propensity to take crap like no other President without blinking an eye.

People don't appreciate it now, but wait until we go back to the dull, dry, out of touch type of Presidents we have had in the past..........You will be longing, wishing and bragging about the days of Obama, you Fox watching fools!

The difference is that Larry Bird rose from his humble beginnings to become a legitimate leader who accomplished great things and didn't lie his ass off during his days in the NBA.

Barack Obama began lying his ass off before he even made it out of his humble beginnings, and hasn't stopped lying since.

Barack Obama will never be the "Larry Bird" of anything.

Obama will be seen as another Jimmy carter leaving the nation to recovery domestically ; having blown 800 billion stimulus and now foreign policy a mess. He now has more problems with democrats than republicans because the paid the election price for the failures.

But excellent comparison.
Wrong. President Obama was elected twice, remember? That's about as big an all-star win as it gets.

Obama only received 43 percent of the white vote. But he was elected.

You are right, years from now, when the country has outgrown its racist past, history will view him in a very favorable light.

Remember this? And Obama isn't African American; he is a mulatto.

Pretty much every response will be negative here, but we will revisit this thread in a few years. If everyone appreciated Obama today, I would have called this the Michael Jordan/ Magic Johnson thread.....duh!

You like tea bags enough to get dunked? Why bring it up?
