White supremacy IS a huge problem in LatAm as well as Asia. Like a "Black" Dominican pr Brazil person will deny being of that race till the cows come home.
Blacks are generally not liked in many hispanic countries, but you proglibs want to turn America majority Hispanic. Black libs try to ally themselves with Hispanics and Asians as 'people of royal colors' to take down whitey when these three groups hate each other. Blacks go on and on into perpetuity about slavery and Jim Crow but in reality if you knew world history no group has been better to blacks than non-Spanish Europeans. Have fun in future dystopian America.
I've been trying to tell folks that but many blacks can't get over their obsessions of whites to see straight. The new majority, minority America will be even more hostile to blacks in this country.

Not even sure why the overall concern with either group.
When I lived in the Dominican Republic, there was a point when the jeers from the streets, shouts of “Arréglate ese pelo!” (Fix that hair!) and mocking gestures about my prominent pajón (afro) became too much to deal with. In a country of complex racial dynamics, where straightened hair is a social currency and billboards depict curly-haired women with the headline “Your hair deserves better,” natural or curly hair, colloquially referred to as pelo malo (bad hair—also a term used in the black American community), is sometimes viewed as a marker of Haitian identity. While many Dominicans vehemently deny the role of race in the current controversy over the deportation of Dominicans of Haitian descent and Haitian migrants, the treatment I received while living in the Dominican Republic (and often being mistaken as Haitian) suggests the contrary.

Blacks should be skeptical who they "ally" with, especially since these other groups have white validation. And white supremacy is alive and well in Latin countries, even in Latin communities in the US.
You need to ask the Dominicans that question because many of them DENY being part Black. Too; it's to the point that Black Dominican ladies in the US have the rep of only marrying anglo white dudes and having babies with them, "people of color" need not apply which to me is pretty damn sad.
You'd hope that minorities would be more tolerant and understanding towards other races, but the truth is that many of them are way more racist than regular white people. They all act like they are superior and take pleasure in looking down on others. It's really weird when you think about it.

This libertarian cat and his ilk are supposed to be uber racist or so one demographic has been led to believe.
"He said that putting aside his legal, philosophical analysis of the issue, he is opposed to the Confederate flag because it represents, at least in part, "the most horrible racial oppression known to man."
"It should not be flown," Judge Napolitano concluded. "Who cares what the government's opinions are?" "

Answer the question. Why do they need to identify with a color? It is your post that is treating their lack of identification with a color as a problem. So there is no need to ask them anything.
There are enough Dominican women with Dominican men or other Hispanics as well as other minorities to call foul on your claim. It seems you have selective vision.
So again, why is it a problem to YOU that they may not identify with a color? The majority of Dominicans are mixed anyway.
