Of course. I am talking about non-English speakers that are demanding that US born and raised people speak their language in public life.

Unless you want to pay for an interpreter every where you go, then it is Americans' business. It is Americans' business and their decision whether they want to hear a bunch of foreign gibberish every where they go in their country. English darn well should be made the official language. You can obviously speak and write English. The only reason an English speaker wouldn't speak English in public is because they're un-American.

Many US states, maybe over half, are named after Amerindian words http://www.native-languages.org/state-names.htm. That doesn't make the states full of Amerindians speaking indian languages does it now? Many of our sports teams are named after Amerindians too at least till progressive purge it. Are they teams of Amerindian players speaking indian languages? Mexican and Spanglish you hear in the SW now could scarcely be called Spanish. You said dunce not me.

As for your send point... seriously?

There are 68 indigenous languages spoken in Mexico alone, much less the disparate languages, cultures and ethnicities that are apart of the migrating people who come from the rest of South and Central America.
Most coming here are native Spanish speakers. Are you denying that?

Why would a bank teller or cashier speak a foreign language to a customer unless the customer demanded it? English is our de facto national language. Surely you know this.

Texas was a French possession almost as long as a Mexican lol. Texas has now been a US state longer than it was a French, Spanish, Mexican and independent Republic combined.

America has always been a melting pot, where people assimilated, but what bound us together was an American identity first and foremost. That identity is what's lacking now.
