Did you guys read the transcript from the video? The officer certainly wasn't diffusing the situation, but Sandra was talking some serious chit. For example, she was calling him a *another word for cat* over and over. Quite honestly, ]I fully expect to get messed up or even shot, if I spoke like that to a cop in Texas. Hard to believe it all started with a failure to signal a lane change.

I agree the cop abused his power and is responsible for a false arrest. But she could have avoided arrest by cooperating. Either could have prevented her arrest.

The officer was polite with her until she had her little rant about being irritated, it's tough to say but in my opinion It is best to stay calm, be polite and be on your way, then if you feel wronged you can take it to court. As far as her killing herself, it's sad but from what I've read she had mental issues.
