In yet another bold faced grasp of power Obama's EEOC has ruled gender and sex and the same as sexual orientation. Thus discrimination against gays is covered under various federal anti-discrimination acts. Long story short Obama's administration has made LGBT a protected class without Congress.

It's rather hard to argue with the reasoning. If you discriminate against someone for liking men when they're a man but not when they're a woman, how is that not discrimination based on gender?
I'm sure the righties will be along soon to tell us all how it should be okay to fire gay people for being gay.

Are we not all supposed to be equal under the laws of this country, gays included? This country is not just straight, just white or just Christian and the laws and rights under its constitution concern All of us, young, old, white, black, gay or straight, religious or not religious. Same with the civil rights ruling of 1964 was not just about race and is now inclusive of sexual orientation.
