In a bit of irony, or poetic justice, or whatever, I remember reading about Bill Clinton being denied at The Maidstone Club, a very "blue blood" country club near my home. It was during the Lewinski scandal.

And if you think it is appropriate to use 23 year-old articles as relevant to what candidate believe today, we can certainly dig up everyone's irrelevant actions of decades ago.

Guess what, extreme right? Things change. We know you hate it when that happens, but things change.
lmao, but the actions of people no longer alive today all matter to the Leftists. What hypocrisy.

Not to mention the Lefties were apoplectic over a 30 yr old story about Romney's dog.

Dems still say things that are condescending to black people.. Biden said of Obama, he is clean and articulate.. would he say that about a white person?

Clinton on Obama.. a few years ago Obama would be carrying my luggage and bringing me coffee.. now that is condescending and racist.. They think they are better because they pat themselves on the back as if they gave blacks their rights.. blacks were always equal.

How many KKK members can you find who voted for Obama? Probably not too many.

This thread is sad...about as pathetic as all the posts about the "official" Clinton/Gore campaign button on the Confederate battle flag...the one absolutely no one has a recollection of and had no official markings on it.

Not sure why the right wing is still obsessed over Bill Clinton. He can't run for president anymore. He served his two terms. What are Newt Gingrich and Ken Starr up to these days? Give it a rest, already.

We still keep seeing one sign after another that democrats are still the racist party. But apparently, all it takes is for democrats to point their finger to the right and scream racism and the liberal just keep believing it.

This came out when he was running. Didn't you see it then. He won. Case closed.

How is sweeping it under the rug?

W is still an obsession on the left, in comparison. At almost the end of two terms of his polar opposite, everything thats wrong is all his fault. I agree with you, in that people spend to much time looking behind. Its counterproductive. And booths sides of things do it. Regular. Something pops up in someone's past, and , for all intents and purposes, it could have just happened, seconds ago.

Not so long ago, on here, a thread went up about John Wayne, and some "racist" remark be, supposedly, said on set decades ago. People were just frothing over it. "Take his star off the walk" "His movies should be pulled from shelves". On and on. And, bes been dead for 3+ a good bit, decades. So, now it comes up, Clinton frequented a whites only golf club. Decades ago. Paula Dean said the N word, decades ago. Some Republican candidate for the Senate gave an address at a convention , sponsored , supposedly by some racist group. The list goes on forever, and keeps getting longer.

Time elapsed and even death ,of the individuals in question, doesn't matter. People lock on like a bear trap on a chicken leg. And this is not unique to either end of any ideology.

Racism is live and well in the USA. We know that. But Republicans are racist to the bone.
