Clinton has not contributed anything to the table to keep the Russians in a non aggressive mode. never mind Obama and Kerry. Condi Rice would of been a better choice to deal the Russian Empire.. She actually speaks Russian. Does Clinton?

Presidents and Presidential hopefuls are success on their current successes and implantations of policy. Not Blaming past presidents.

Looking at what happened with Syria and its chemical weapon use, I'd say the following will take place:

1. Putin will take an act of aggression of some sort.
2. Obama warns Putin to stop or face consequences. ("redline")
3. The Right says Obama better do something and stand up to Putin.
4. Obama says he is ready to take a military action.
5. The Right says, "Oh, you'd better seek authorization from Congress for this"
6. After contemplation, Obama says he will seek authorization from Congress.
7. The Right says, "He is so indecisive, do something, anything!!! Now!!!!!"
8. House Republican kills the authorization bill because it doesn't put the homeland under direct threat.
9. The Right says, "I can't believe Obama didn't do anything. America is not strong any more. No one will respect the redline."

Russia: do all of us a favor please and, give it a rest. Sheesh! Your country ain't doing real well in 2015.

That dwarf Putin is sure playing the Napoleon card.

Another little corporal.

Maybe, but I figure why ascribe to malice what can easily be explained by stupidity/incompetence. The Russians don't like NATO understandably since it's a military alliance largely aimed at them; of course threatening countries not to join is probably the best possible way to get them to want to join even more so.

Pat is not running for President here. Clinton cannot speak a word of Russian when she was Sec. of State. Clinton's jester's of reaching out have back fired and Obama is intimidated. The famious Reset Button wich was back fireand was spelled wrong in Russian!

The GOP field that is running for President, considers Putin a potential danger and so does the Joint Chiefs who testified last week. Obama, Clinton and Kerry wishes to lead from behind and throw softballs at Putin.

Putin understands strength, not weakness.

You have your agenda (most of us know where you coming from) and please focus on the seriousness of this question.

Especially threatening a country that has already "not joined" NATO for 60 years.
