Opinion flashback: NRA's gun-free zone myth
Kinda hard to know the thinking of a shooter (if they picked the target due to it's "softness") when many kill themselves or are killed by police. The reasoning in that article is built upon possibilities that can (or not) include choosing one target that is softer than another.

Reagan or no Reagan. We can't put every right wing nut job conspiracy kook (as we now know the shooter to be) in a mental hospital. I've been looking around C-D this morning to see if anyone is missing.

You have to realize the condition of such hospitals at the time were horrible. The staff neglect was criminal, living conditions criminal by today's standards. They took in patients along with government money and did little else. Some were better than others, but too many neglected the patients to death.

I wonder what other civilized countries must think of the US these days. Soon, our tourism industry will dry up IF we can't get a handle on the random, senseless violence.

Actually, movie theater owners should apologize. If it weren't for theaters these people would be alive today.

The problem is it's not really a fantasy.

However, it's not all leftists/progressives; just a lot of them. After all, it wasn't conservatives or apolititical people who coined pseudo hate words like teahadist, American taliban, etc. that they still use on a regular basis when referring to many of their own fellow Americans.

Total lies. Do you think the theater, school and military base shootings would have occurred if the shooter knew there were armed people inside? Obviously not.
