This is going to be fun. The GOP-led Chamber of Commerce will take on far-right Tea Party hardliners in the House which have been holding up their agenda such as immigration reform and a long-term highway bill.

The Southern Strategy of christian hardliners and the establishment business Republicans was always an odd pairing..the extreme radical southern incarnation of the current GOP has made it more difficult for the establishment Republicans to hold their sway in the party.

...not as odd as the grouping of business tycoons, ponytailed white liberals, miltant minority activists and the mainline churches in favor of amnesty.

The business tycoons are mostly in the GOP. The "Party of (monkey) Business".

You just in so any words admitted to the world that establishment GOP neoconservatism (aka Rockefeller Republicanism) is indistinguishable from progressive leftism.

Immigration "reform"? They mean amnesty and any law abiding American whether they be right or left should oppose that nonsense.

The Chamber is running ads in support of McCain already in Arizona. McCain is facing a challenge from a tea party candidate in the primaries.

Just another corrupt special interest that believes the government by right belongs to them instead of the voters; we can all hope that they'll all be whipped as badly as Justin Amash whipped their pet candidate in his district last year:

Inmates are running the asylum

I wonder if the Chamber of Commerce types can regain control of the GOP without totally alienating their hateful, ignorant Tea Party base. It'll be fun to watch

Not since the mid 1990's.

Wall St and Silicon Valley are the paymasters of the Democrats.
