Detroit isn't it's permanent home, that's just where it was unveiled. It will be moved somewhere more visible when the opportunity arises - possibly Arkansas beside a 10 Commandments monument on the legislature grounds.
So does this mean Oklahoma took down the stupid commandments statue?
"The Temple had unsuccessfully applied to have the statue placed near a Ten Commandments monument installed in 2012 on the Oklahoma State Capitol grounds. The Oklahoma Supreme Court recently ruled the Ten Commandments monument violates a section of the state constitution that bans the use of state property for the benefit of a religion.
Lawmakers in the socially conservative state responded with threats to seek the impeachment of the court’s justices and pledged to push for changes to the constitution.
Oklahoma governor Mary Fallin, a Republican, said she will keep the monument in place as the state appeals the decision."

Why am I not surprised....the Statue of Satan should be sitting next to it until the appeals process happens.
But the appeals process is over as of Monday. The Oklahoma Supreme Court denied a rehearing on keeping the Ten Commandments monument. For now, the state Supreme Court will send a mandate to the lower court telling it to formally order its removal. We'll see if Oklahoma embarrasses the nation with a huge gathering protesting the removal. After all, many Oklahomans pretty strongly believe that American law is based on the Ten Commandments. Also many Oklahoma Republican leaders do not believe the monument goes against the federal constitution or the Establishment Clause.

The only question is why it took so long when it is clearly spelled out , I heard the legislature was going to amend the constitution.
You Christians can relax it's not a statue of Satan. It's Baphomet a Pagan deity although I'm sure there is no difference for you. The Knights Templar were said to worship it. I think it looks like a mix of Obama/Bush of you ask me. Another piece of info Satanist don't worship Satan.. it's a joke.
